Jamshedpur, Sept 19: Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) has successfully completed its inaugural cycling expedition from Manali to Leh, a remarkable journey that spanned from September 4-14, covering a total distance of 490 km.
The flag-off ceremony for this incredible cycling adventure took place on September 5 at Manali, marking the beginning of an unforgettable journey.
The TSAF Cycling Expedition adhered to the theme “Pedal for a Purpose”, aligning with two critical Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 07 – Affordable and Clean Energy and Goal 13 – Climate Action.
Every pedal stroke sent a resounding message of dual impact—combating climate change and championing renewable energy sources.
The expedition participants embodied the spirit of sustainability, demonstrating that eco-friendly travel choices can significantly contribute to addressing pressing global issues.
This remarkable journey not only showcased the breath-taking landscapes of the Manali to Leh route but also underscored the importance of responsible travel and individual contributions to a greener future.
