Two trains cancelled, 6 partially affected, 7 diverted for three days in Dhanbad division

Dhanbad, April 11: East Central Railway (ECR) zone has cancelled two trains and terminated the duration of six others from April 12 to 14 due to electronic interlocking and expansion of double track at Renukut, Jharokhas and Mayurpur Road station in the CIC Section of Dhanbad Rail Division.

The railway officials said routes of 7 trains have also been diverted due to the expansion of double track and electronic interlocking.

The trains that have been cancelled for April 12 and April 13 are (down 13350) Patna- Singaraouli Express and train no. 13349  Singarouli- Patna Express on April 13- April 14.

The six trains that would not go to its scheduled station are train no.03343 Gomoh- Choupan Special. The train would go till Barwadih station on April 13 and 14. Similarly train no. 03344  would return from Barwadih station for Gomoh on April 14.

On April 13, Train no.18613 Ranchi- Choupan Express would run till Garhwa Road station. Train no18631 Choupan – Ranchi express would return from Garhwa Road station on April 12, 13 and 14.

Besides it, the railway official said seven other express trains that cross through the CIC Section of  Dhanbad Rail Division including up and down Howrah- Jabalpur Shaktipunj Express, Kolkata- Madar Express, Sambalpur- Jammu Tawi Express and Hatia- Anand Vihar Terminal would run from a diverted route on April 13.
