Moscow, July 30: There is news of a major attack on Moscow by Ukraine. According to the information, Ukrainian army drones attacked two buildings in Moscow with missiles. According to the mayor of Moscow, the attacks were carried out at night, in which the buildings were damaged. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that both the office towers have sustained some damage. One person has been injured.

It is reported that Moscow’s Vnukovo airport has been closed after the attack. Flights to take off and land from here have been redirected. Notably, Moscow and its surrounding area, located about 500 km from the Ukrainian border, was rarely targeted by Ukraine with drones during the conflict.

According to the information, due to continuous drone attacks earlier this month, air traffic at an airport located in the south-west of the city was disrupted for some time. Although Russia said that it had shot down five Ukrainian drones that night. Russia’s Foreign Ministry believes that such attacks are not possible for Ukraine without the help of the US and its NATO allies.

Earlier on Friday, Russia said it had shot down two Ukrainian missiles in the southern Rostov region bordering Ukraine, injuring at least 16 people when debris fell on the city of Taganrog.

A few days ago, Ukraine attacked the Russian-occupied city of Makivka at night. Ukrainian army had fired HIMRAS rockets (HIMRAS) given by America.. Ukrainian army had fired two rockets targeting oil and ordnance depots. Because of this the area had become a ball of fire.

In this regard, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Saturday that the problem is increasing due to Ukrainian attacks. Putin said this to the media after meeting African leaders in St. Petersburg on Friday.
