Union Health Secretary to hold meeting with states on ‘Omicron’

The emphasis will be on testing and tracking

New Delhi, Nov 30: On Tuesday, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhusan will hold a review meeting with the states on the new COVID-19 variant Omicron.

Earlier on Sunday, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare also revised the international travel guidelines in view of the new variant of coronavirus.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is holding a meeting  to review Delhi’s preparedness in view of Omicron variant and third wave.

According to an advisory issued by the centre, the self-declaration board from on Air Suvidha Portal, which has thr travel history of the last 14 days of all international travellers arriving in India, is filled completely before boarding.

on Monday Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged people to stay alert against the new coronavirus variant Omicron. The Prime Minister also chaired a meeting on Saturday to review public health preparedness and vaccination-related situation for COVID-19.
