Ranchi, June 18: Governor Ramesh Bais has expressed his anger over the publication of unsubstantiated information.

This came to the fore after a news release was published by Raj Bhawan on Saturday.

The statement contradicts reports in several of the state’s publications about Governor Ramesh Bais’ appointment of vice-chancellors of four universities and pro-vice-chancellors of two universities.

The information that the governor approved the names of four VCs and two pro-VCs and sent the file to the chief minister is untrue and unsubstantiated, according to the release.

The Raj Bhawan press release, which highlights journalistic errors, forbids journalists from releasing any news item on Raj Bhawan without first verifying the facts.
