Ranchi, June 17: The State Coordination Committee meeting on Friday, chaired by JMM President Shibu Soren, was entirely devoted to law and order, the Mandar by-election, and the pledges made prior to the elections.
Alamgir Alam, the head of the Congress Legislature Party, told the media persons after the meeting that the leaders of all three parties had reached an agreement on how the alliance should perform well in the Mandar by-election.
Local issues and the electoral manifesto were also widely discussed at the meeting. According to Alamgir Alam, recent violence has thrown the law and order system into disarray. The coalition government seeks to create a peaceful environment in the state.
