Vinai Kumar Saxena takes oath as 22nd Lieutenant Governor of Delhi

New Delhi, May 26: Vinai Kumar Saxena took oath as the 22nd Lieutenant Governor (L-G) of Delhi on Thursday.

Saxena, the chairperson of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), was named Lt Governor of Delhi earlier this week, following his predecessor Anil Baijal’s departure for ‘personal reasons.’

The ceremony was attended by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Cabinet colleagues, Union Minister Giriraj Singh, Delhi MPs and MLAs, and top city administration bureaucrats.
