XLRI Jamshedpur gets 9th NIRF ranking, IIT Dhanbad and three other institutes also figure in national ranking

Jamshedpur, June 5 : XLRI Jamshedpur and IIT Dhanbad were among the five institutes from Jharkhand which figured in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2023.

The ninister of state for education and external affairs Rajkumar Ranjan Singh released the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2023 today.

In the NIRF Rankings, five educational institutions from Jharkhand got included.

Jamshedpur – based B-school XLRI got the best NIRF ranking of 9 while IIT- Dhanbad bagged 42nd rank in overall top- 100 category.

Birla Institute of Technology ( BIT), Mesra Ranchi got different rankings in various categories. It bagged 71st place in the country’s top 100 universities.

IIM- Ranchi and National University of Study and Research in Law ( NUSRL), Ranchi also figured in the NIRF Rankings 2023.

Notably, XLRI Jamshedpur was placed at the eighth spot in NIRF Rankings last year ( 2022) while IIT Dhanbad has been ranked 14th in engineering category and 38 in the Overall category in NIRF Ranking 2022.

The NIRF rankings are determined based on several parameters, including teaching, learning, and resources; research and professional practices; graduation outcomes; outreach and inclusivity; and peer perception.

These parameters help assess the overall performance and quality of educational institutions.

These rankings showcase the performance and excellence of these institutions in the field of management education.

They provide valuable insights for students and professionals seeking admissions or career opportunities in the management domain.
