Ramgarh, July 17: A young woman committed suicide by jumping off of the Ramgarh Damodar bridge on Sunday. Ramgarh police have said, “A married woman identified as Sujata Sharma, a resident of Ranchi Road, was married in Aurangabad, Bihar.”
“After some time, Sharma had a dispute with her husband. Since then she was living with her mother at Ranchi Road Ramgarh,” the police have added. A family member further said, “Sujata left the house around 7:00 am. She reached River Damodar bridge and commited suicide.”
Local people informed the Ramgarh police station about the incident. Upon getting information, Ramgarh police reached the spot and took the dead body into possession. Police have sent the body to Ramgarh Sadar Hospital for a post-mortem and have begun an investigation in this regard.
