Ranchi, Aug. 24: Jharkhand Police this morning recovered Rajesh Munda safely from Keredari forests. Four abductors were also arrested.
Munda was abducted yesterday from a locality near BIT Lalpur extension centre under Lalpur police station in the city’s heart. Abductors gave a ransom call to her wife Kalavathi demanding Rs 1 crore as ransom amount for the safe return of Rajesh.
She knocked on the door of the police station. Later, on Monday night abductors reduced the ransom amount to Rs 20,000.
She knocked on the door of the police station on Tuesday morning again suspecting the hands of one Vicky and police immediately swung into action and finally the breakthrough came.
Rajesh is a small land dealer and he had recently struck a deal of rupees 20 lakh. Police suspect this deal is a reason behind his abduction.
Contacted S.P (city) Saurav Kumar for his comment he confirmed the development but said that the details related to the matter will be shared in a press conference in the evening.
