Dhanbad, Oct 19: The health department has transferred 10 medical officers to different districts to streamline the health services, especially at rural health centres in the state.
As per a notification issued on Wednesday evening by the Undersecretary of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare of the state government Prabhunath Sharma, among the 10 transferred medical officers, two, Dr Aparna Gupta and Dr Geeta Kumari, are specialist doctors.
Eye specialist Dr Aparna Gupta posted at the divisional hospital Bundu Ranchi has been deployed at RINPAS Kanke for three days a week. Dr Archana Priya, a medical officer posted at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Itki Ranchi has been transferred to the Community Health Centre (CHC) Ranchi.
Dr Geeta Kumari (gynaecologist) posted at Sadar Hospital Khunti has been deployed at Sadar Hospital Ranchi. Dr Ashok Kumar Mahta, a medical officer posted at the referral hospital Thakurgangti Godda has been shifted to Sadar Hospital Godda.
Dr Arvind Kumar Rajak, a medical officer posted at the Community Health Centre (CHC) Kuddu in Lohardaga has been transferred to the Divisional Hospital Bundu Ranchi. Dr Ved Prakash, medical officer at Community Health Centre (CHC) Bagodar Ranchi has been transferred to CHC Hunterganj, Chatra.
Dr Sanjit Kumar Pankaj, a medical officer posted at the Community Health Centre (CHC) Rania in Khunti has been transferred to the CHC Kanke Ranchi. Dr Ram Sunder Singh, a medical officer posted at the Community Health Centre (CHC) Pandu in Palamu has been transferred to Tuberculosis Centre Garhwa.
Dr Sudipt Vedrajan (dentist) posted at the Divisional Hospital Chas in Bokaro has been transferred to Sadar Hospital Hazaribagh. Dr Wridhi Kumari, medical officer posted at CHC Ranka in Garhwa has been transferred to CHC Sadar block Palamu.
