Ranchi, June 18: Ten policemen died in seven districts of Jharkhand in the last six days, in which Dhanbad, Palamu, Hazaribagh, Garhwa, Dumka, Seraikela and Bokaro districts are included. The deceased policemen include seven from Jharkhand Police, two from CRPF and one from CISF. Five of these ten policemen have died due to heat stroke. While the remaining five soldiers lost their lives due to different reasons.
Know when and where policemen died in six days:
June 17: Rambul Kumar, a constable posted in the Dhanbad police line, died due to a sudden deterioration in his health.
June 17: Home guard jawan Ram Gati Ram, a resident of Sangbaria village under Meral police station area of Garhwa district, died while on duty.
June 17: SSB jawan Pramod Kumar died due to heatstroke in Dumka.
June 16: CISF jawan Sukhdev Harijan, posted at Phusro in Bokaro district, died of a heart attack while on duty.
June 15: Two CRPF jawans, Havildar Shambhu Ram Goldi and Prem Kumar Singh, died due to heat stroke in Seraikela.
June 14: Constable Anthony Marandi, who was working as a constable in Chatra district, died in Dumka.
June 13: Two policemen named Prakash Kiran and Janardan Singh died in the police line of Palamu district.
June 12: Constable Mathura Yadav, who was undergoing training at the Police Training Center Padma in Hazaribagh district, died.
