New Delhi: On Tuesday night, a derailment of 11 wagons from a goods train transporting iron ore caused significant disruptions to passenger train services in Telangana. The incident occurred around 10:00 PM between Raghavapuram and Ramagundam stations in the Peddapalli district, South Central Railway (SCR) officials confirmed.

Immediate Impact on Train Services
The derailment has led to widespread cancellations and alterations in train schedules. SCR officials announced that 37 passenger trains were canceled, with an additional four trains partially canceled. To manage the disruption, authorities diverted ten other trains, rescheduled two, and placed three under regulation.
