Ranchi, Nov.2: A 20-yr-old youth killed a 34-yr-old lady residing in his neighbourhood as he had suspicion in his mind that the lady killed his mother when he was only eight years old.
The incident took place on Monday night at Besrajara, about 200km from the Jharkhand capital under Kolebira police station area of Simdega district.
Superintendent of police of the district, Shams Tabrez, confirmed the incident saying that the youth, Patrik Dhanwar, was arrested from the residence of his sister, about 5km from the place of occurrence of the event.
“The youth attempted to strangle the lady after finding her alone about 100 to 150m away from her house and when failed in doing so he hit her head with a heavy stone. Killing the lady, identified as Mansi Devi, he hid her body behind a bush before leaving the spot,” Tabrez said, adding that the youth appeared psychic.
Asked about details about the mother of the youth, Tabrez, expressed his inability to share. “We did not get any details about the mother of the youth so far as apparently no FIR was registered in that matter,” he said, expressing his concern over the incident.
