New Delhi, Oct. 25: India recorded 14,306 new coronavirus cases on Monday, down by 10.1% from the previous day. According to data provided by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the country’s overall caseload has risen to 3,41,89,774 cases in the last 24 hours.
In the last 24 hours, 443 people have died as a result of the virus. With this, the country’s death toll has risen to 4,54,712.
The recovery rate in India is now at 98.18 percent.
Kerala leads the way with 8,538 cases, followed by Maharashtra (1,410 cases), Tamil Nadu (1127 cases), West Bengal (989 cases), and Odisha (447 cases).
These five states accounted for 87.45% of all new cases, with Kerala accounting for 59.68% of the total.
Kerala had the most casualties (363), followed by Maharashtra with 18 daily deaths.
In the last 24 hours, 18,762 individuals have recovered from the virus, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 3,35,67,367 across the country.
In the country, there are now 1,67,695 active cases. Active cases have decreased by 4,899 in the previous 24 hours.
In the previous 24 hours, a total of 9,98,397 samples were tested.
In the meantime, India has given out 12,30,720 vaccination doses in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of doses given to 1,02,27,12,895.
