Ranchi, Sept 8: Colonel Ranveer Singh Jamwal, an internationally renowned mountaineer who has climbed Mount Everest three times and also conquered the highest mountain in all seven continents, will unfurl the Indian Tri-color tomorrow at Parasnath, the highest peak of Jharkhand, under his mission “Har Shikhar Tiranga”.

‘Har Shikhar Tiranga (HST)’ is a unique campaign with the significant objective of hoisting the Indian national flag, Tiranga, on the highest peak of all 28 states of India for the very first time. This campaign is part of the larger “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,” a nationwide celebration commemorating the 75th year of India’s independence.

Col Ranveer Jamwal and his team today met Governor C P Radhakrishnan, who applauded the initiative and appreciated his patriotism and contribution to the country.

The founder and director of Ideate Inspire Ignite Foundation, Rajeev Gupta, who is actively involved in this endeavor, said that after felicitating the 13 Everest Summiteers on the 70th Anniversary of the Everest Summit in Ranchi on August 20 an opportunity arose to collaborate with Colonel Ranveer Jamwal in his mission during the “Har Shikhar Tiranga” programme.

“It is a matter of pride for our state that the Colonel’s team will unfurl the Indian Tri-color on the highest peak of Parasnath,” he added.

“In essence, the “Har Shikhar Tiranga” mission not only symbolizes India’s unity but also celebrates its diverse geography and culture. It fosters patriotism and adventure while spreading awareness about the importance of preserving the environment. Furthermore, it connects with local communities, engages mountaineers, and introduces India’s stunning landscapes to the global stage,” he said.

“The main objectives of the mission are to promote national unity, showcase diversity, foster patriotism, encourage adventure and exploration, and raise local awareness,” Gupta pointed out.
