Jamshedpur, Sept 9: The South Eastern Railway (SER) has decided to introduce 18617/18618 Ranchi-New Giridih-Ranchi Express from September 12, Tuesday with vistadome coaches.
The regular run of this train will commence from September 13, Wednesday both from Ranchi and New Giridih.
The train will run on diverted route via Barkakana-Muri-Tatisilwai instead of Barkakana-Mesra-Tatisilwai till further directives.
On the inaugural day i.e on September 12, it will run as 03309 New Giridih- Ranchi Special Express on open path timings on diverted route via Barkakana-Muri-Tatisilwai instead of Barkakana-Mesra-Tatisilwai.
The train will run daily with one vistadome, two AC chair cars, three general chair cars and six general second class coaches.
Vistadome coaches are equipped with transparent ceilings and panoramic windows which offer passengers close encounters with nature and scenic beauty during the journey.
