Kochi, July 27: A 19-year-old naval sailor was discovered hanging onboard INS Vikrant in the early hours of Thursday, a defence release stated.
It added that a statutory Board of Inquiry has been ordered into the incident and that, on the surface, it looks to be a suicide case.
The unmarried sailor is from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, according to sources.
They said that a case had been reported to the local police.
