Bandipore, Oct.26: A grenade attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipore area injured at least six civilians on Tuesday, according to sources familiar with the situation. They went on to say that the attack, which took place in Bandipore’s Sumbal bridge area, was directed at security forces.
According to police, a civilian was killed in cross-firing when terrorists attacked a battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the Union territory’s Shopian region on Sunday. The incident elicited significant protests from Kashmir’s mainstream political parties, who sought an investigation.
