Jamshedpur, Oct 26: Train services would remain affected from today till November 1 in South Eastern Railway’s Ranchi and Chakradharpur division due to modification work at the Muri railway yard.
A railway spokesman of South Eastern Railway said, ” Due to a non- interlocking work for the removal of Diamond Crossings at Muri Yard (Ranchi Division), the train services would remain affected for the next six days till November 1.”
The trains which will remain cancelled for the next six days till November 1 from today included 03595/03596 Bokaro Steel City-Asansol-Bokaro Steel City Special,
08196/08195 Hatia-Tatanagar-Hatia Special, 08641/08642 Adra-Barkakana-Adra Special and
08602/08601 Hatia-Tatanagar-Hatia Special.
Apart from this a couple of trains would be short-terminated for the next six days till the completion of the modification work at Muri railway yard.
Meanwhile, S E Railway officials said that they would soon notify additional coaches in some of the long-distance trains to ease the festival rush.
