3 women killed, 1 injured in lightning  in Sahebganj

Dhanbad, Aug 24: Three women were killed while one was seriously injured in lightning in Rajmahal block of Sahebganj district on Tuesday late afternoon, an official said.
Reports reaching the district headquarters said four women of Sakhi Bagicha village were working in a paddy field during heavy rain when all of the sudden lightning struck them. Having seen them falling unconscious,  farmers working in nearby paddy fields,  brought them to Rajmahal divisional hospital immediately where doctors declared them brought dead.
The official said as per the hospital doctors, the condition of the fourth woman was critical but stable. The official said identification of dead and injured women was under progress. Heavy rains have lashed Sahebganj district for the last two days.
