804 Candidates File Nominations for First Phase of Jharkhand Assembly Elections, Scrutiny on October 28

Nomination process for 43 assembly constituencies concludes; Jamshedpur East leads with 32 candidates.

804 Candidates File Nominations for First Phase of Jharkhand Assembly Elections, Scrutiny on October 28

Ranchi: The nomination process for the first phase of the Jharkhand Assembly elections has concluded, with a total of 804 candidates filing nominations for 43 assembly constituencies. Jamshedpur East saw the highest number of candidates with 32 nominations, followed by Jamshedpur West with 31 and Hatia with 30.

The notification for the first phase of elections was issued on October 18, and the last date for filing nominations was October 25. The scrutiny of nominations will take place on October 28, while the final date for candidates to withdraw their nominations is October 30.
