West Bokaro: Tata Steel launches healthy lifestyle program for employees

Ramgarh, June 23: West Bokaro Division of Tata Steel launched a healthy lifestyle program for the employees at Tata Sports Complex.

General Manager West Bokaro Anurag Dixit attended the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dixit inaugurated the program by flagging off a green flag in the presence of senior officials and union representatives.

He said, “Under a new initiative, the Administration Department in collaboration with the Sports Cell has started a healthy lifestyle program for all the employees. The safety and occupational health responsibilities at Tata Steel are driven by a commitment to cause zero harm to the people we work with. Daily activities are combined with new activities scheduled every day, ranging from light stretching to slow walks, rhythm walks, free hand exercises, fun games and cool downs.”

The responsibility of providing training to the participants has been given to RR Singh, Dukhia Manjhi, Ramanuj Singh, Rafiq, Vivek Karak and Monu Kumar.

On this occasion, Chief Coal Beneficiation BV Sudhir Kumar, Chief CEP PK Srivastava, Chief Quarry SE Mrinal Bhadra, Head HRBP Sudhir Kumar, Head Stakeholder Pankaj Kumar, RKMU Vice President PK Mishra along with Tata Steel officials and union officials were present.
