Mumbai, June 28: Pallonji Mistry, the leader of Shapoorji Pallonji Group, passed away at his home on Tuesday, according to business authorities.
With an 18.4% stake in the company, Mistry was the largest individual stakeholder in the Tata Group. He was 93 years old.
On the night between Monday and Tuesday, the officials reported that he passed away in his sleep at his home in south Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Union minister Smriti Irani express her condolences on Mistry’s death and said, “One of life’s greatest joys was to have witnessed his genius , his gentleness at work.”
