Ranchi, July 5: The Jharkhand High Court today rejected Rahul Gandhi’s case, which was filed after he was accused of disparaging Prime Minister Narendra Modi and given a summons by a lower court.
The order was issued after Justice Sanjay Dwivedi heard Rahul’s petition.
The issue started after Rahul Gandhi visited Ranchi as part of the Lok Sabha election campaign in 2019 and said “Sabhi Modi Chor Hain” while addressing a gathering at Morabadi in the centre of the state capital. A city resident then filed a lawsuit against this defamatory comment.
