JEE Main: 29 under privileged Jharkhand students crack exam with help of Aakansha scheme

Ranchi, July 11: The Jharkhand School Education and Literacy department on Monday released the list of 29 students that qualified the JEE Main examination 2022 after the National Testing Agency declared the results of the same.

Students that were able to score 90 and above percentile despite adversities include Raju Sen (OBC) – NTA score 96.695, Rounak Kumar (OBC) NTA score 96.690, Ashish Kumar (GEN) NTA score 95.903, Krishna Kumar Mahato (OBC) NTA score 95.109, Vinit Kumar (OBC) NTA score 93.803, Dhiraj Barnwal (GEN) NTA score 93.667, Rajesh Kumar Mahato (OBC) NTA score 92.320, Abhinandan Kumar (GEN) NTA score 90.900, and Aman Kumar (OBC) NTA score 90.060.

Other students that qualified the exam and scored above 75 percentile include Priyanshu Kumar, Asif Hussain, Harish Kumar Mahato, Suraj Kumbhakar, Sohan Kumar Pandit, Ranjeet Kumar Gupta, Rajesh Gope, Puja Rani Das, Rahul Kisku, Sonu Kumar, Pramanand Mahato, Kritivas Hembram, Sumit Kumar Maji, Manu Pal, Ankit Oraon, Rocky Bhandari, Manoj Kumar Khan, Doli Kumari, Sourabh Kumar Modi, and Nitesh Kumar.

District Superintendent of Education, Ranchi Arvind Vijay Billung and Akansha Project Director V K Singh, along with all the teachers under the scheme have congratulated the successful students.

Notably, under-privileged students were provided online coaching by the state, through the statewide run Aakansha Scheme for preparation of engineering, medical and MBA. Under this scheme, underprivileged students are not only provided free of cost coaching for the entrance exams, but are also helped in 12th education.
