SDO sadar distributes Tirangas in Daltonganj

Daltonganj, Aug 14: SDO sadar Rajesh Kumar Sah has till date distributed 2,500 Tirangas as a run up to the 75th Independence Day. Speaking to lagatar24.com on Sunday, SDO sadar said people have lapped up the Tiranga saying it is a pleasure to have it.

The SDO further said there were many recipients of Tirangas who admitted they would be hoisting the national flag for the first time in their lives. Many others said they knew only Sahebs and Babus are to have this honour of hoisting the national flag added Rajesh.

Sources said DC Palamu Anjaneyulu Dodde has directed the officials to ensure maximum distribution of the Tirangas specially among the poor who may find it hard to buy it. Dodde has further directed officials to see that women get more of the Tirangas.

Sources credited the SDO sadar Rajesh Kumar Sah for this who had distributed more than 5,000 face masks among the public during the entire stretch of the Covid pandemic.
