J-K: Six members of family found dead inside Jammu house

Srinagar, Aug 17: Six members of a family were discovered dead in their home in Jammu’s Sidhra area.

“Six members of a family were found dead at their residence in Sidhra area of Jammu. Details awaited,” the Jammu and Kashmir police said.

To the Government Medical College and Hospital in Jammu, the bodies have been moved.

A Kashmiri Pandit was shot dead and his brother was injured earlier on Tuesday when terrorists opened fire on them at an apple orchard in the Chotipora neighbourhood of Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Sunil Kumar Bhat has been named as the deceased. Pintu, his brother, has been hurt.

Following the incident, security force members have been stationed in the neighbourhood.

Further details are awaited.
