Deoghar, Aug 18: Deoghar police arrested a drug smuggler red-handed while he was dealing with a buyer. 14 grams of brown sugar were recovered from him on the spot.
Although police could not arrest others who came to buy drugs as they managed to flee.
Deoghar SDPO Pawan Kumar addressing the media said that police got the information that someone was dealing brown sugar in the Mohanpur police station area.
They responded accordingly and caught Lalo Miyan on the spot.
According to the police, Lalo has a criminal background. He is a native of Karma Tand Basti of Jamtara district. He has been arrested and even jailed for several criminal activities before.
Lalo was one of the five accused in a case lodged in Mohanpur police station. The other four accused have been arrested and they confessed before the police about Lalo’s involvement in drug dealing.
