Ankita murder case: NCPCR chief to visit Dumka on Sept.5

Ranchi, Aug.31: The Chairperson of National Commission for Protection of Child Right (NCPCR), Priyank Kanoongo is arriving Jharkhand on two-day programme to take stock of the status of the death case of minor girl, Ankita Singh, who died days after set on fire by her alleged stalker in Jaruadih in Dumka.

 

A copy of the programme sent to the Jharkhand chief secretary and other concerned officials for proper arrangement suggests that the chairperson will land at Birsa Munda Airport at 7.50pm. On September 5, from the airport he will reach Ranchi Railway station to take train no 18619 Intercity for Dumka. He will reach Dumka at 7.25am on  September 5 to take stock of the status of the case.

 

From 9am to 12 noon he will take stock of the case by convening a meeting with DC, SP, investigating officer, concerned medical authorities, child welfare committee and other concerned authorities.

 

He will leave Dumka  for Deoghar at 12.30pm on the same day. From Deoghar he will take Indigo flight for Delhi at 3.15pm.
