Jharkhand: Raj Bhavan to clear confusion on ECI letter soon

Ranchi, Sept 1: Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bias during a meeting with a delegation of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) assured clearance of all confusion over a letter from the Election Commission of India (ECI) to him received on August 25. He said before clearance of confusion, help from experts is being taken.

The assurance came after a UPA delegation comprising parliamentarian Geeta Koda, (Congress), Mahua Maji (JMM), Dheeraj Sahu (Congress) and Vijay Hansda (JMM) besides Vinod Pandey (JMM) and Bandhu Tirkey (Congress) met the governor at Raj Bhavan and discussed the recent political turmoil taken place in Jharkhand after election commission of India (ECI) sent a letter in a sealed cover to him.

The delegates asked the governor regarding the content of the letter sent to make him aware of the confusion that is prevailing in the state after the letter from ECI reached Raj Bhavan. The delegation expressed its concern over the information being circulated in the media about the fate of the state government after the letter of ECI.
