Ranchi: Swayamsiddha Ladies Club distributes food items to underprivileged children

Ranchi, Sept 4: Swayamsiddha Ladies Club distributed essential food items at Adim Jati Sewa Mandal, Ranchi, a home for underprivileged tribal children and physically challenged children as part of the observation of National Nutrition Month being celebrated during the month of September 2022.

As part of their CSR activity, the women club and its members distributed food items (rice, dal, vegetable oil, pulses, health drink, fruits, etc.) to raise awareness of healthy nutrition. Each club member generously contributed, making the a huge success.

Mahua Mazumder, president of the Swayamsiddha Ladies Club, informed the children present of the importance of eating nutritious food for a healthy, balanced life on this occasion. Mazumder highlighted that children need to pursue their dreams in order to succeed in life. She personally asked them about their hopes and plans for the future and urged them to put in a lot of effort to succeed.

The beneficiaries were grateful for the Ladies Club’s initiative. Vice Presidents of the Ladies Club, Sanchita Konar, Adilakshmi Murthy, Kiran Dubey, and Smitha Wilson were present on this occasion, along with the general secretary, committee members, and general members of the Swayamsiddha Ladies Club. Office bearers from the Adim Jati Sewa Mandal, Ajay Kumar Shrivastava and Vikas Kumar Sinha were also present.
