Jharkhand Bachao Morcha to conduct tribal rally on Sept 11 for domicile and recruitment policy

Ranchi, Sept 10: Ranchi is set to become the center stage of the agitation to demand the domicile and recruitment policy as a rally in this regard is planned on Sunday.

The rally is being organized by the Jharkhand Bachao Morcha and other tribal outfits. The disgruntled JMM MLA Lobin Hembrom, who has been critical towards the Hemant Soren led government, is also set to attend the rally which will take place at Sector-2 at Dhurwa in Ranchi.

Vijay Shankar Nayak who is the convener of the Jharkhand Bachao Morcha as well as vice president of Adivasi Mulvasi Janadhikar Manch said that they hope a huge turnout of tribals as well as local residents at the rally.

He said that Jharkhand was carved out of Bihar in 2000 as a tribal state so that tribals and other moolvasis of the state get benefit. But the dream could not be fulfilled and tribals and moolvasis remained marginalized. He said that people have been demanding a domicile policy and the recruitment policy based on a 1932 revenue survey.

He said that former minister Gitashree Oraon, former MLA Mangal Singh Bobanga and many other prominent tribal leaders are set to attend the rally.

He said that the Hemant Soren government has lost the direction and vision, as well, and is no more concerned towards public good.
