Ranchi, Sept 10: A student of DAV Public School, Hehal in Ranchi named Aditya Ujjwal Singh, who secured All India Rank 317 in NEET, suggests students avoid falling prey to the big and alluring advertisement of coaching institutes while addressing a function organized to felicitate him in the school campus.
He shared his opinion while giving important tips for the preparation for the board and NEET exam and said that he had prepared for NEET along with the board exam.
“I used to come to school every day and tried to do well in all the exams conducted by the school by thoroughly studying NCERT books. In school, I never felt hesitant to clear my doubts. I always used to make my notes myself with the help of teachers,” Singh said.
“School education played an important role in my board and NEET exam success. I give suggestions to my junior students to prepare for the board and NEET examinations from NCERT books only. Wandering here and there will be of no use. Avoid falling prey to big and alluring advertisements of coaching institutes,” Singh added.
He gave credit for this success to his teachers and school principal M K Sinha who guided him from time to time and encouraged him to do better. “I will also always be indebted to my parents, who always encouraged me,” he added.
On this occasion, a ‘Principal Parent-Dialogue’ was also organized to the improvement of academic performance of the school.
Parents gave their views in turn. Some parents said that it would be better if children practice on the blackboard after the teachers have taught the questions of surprise tests and math in the class. There was also a suggestion to conduct separate classes subject-wise for the slow learners.
School’s Principal cum Assistant Regional Officer (ARO) Jharkhand Zone-B, M K Sinha, while answering the questions of all the parents said that the school management is committed to the holistic development of the children. The suggestions given will be followed in letter and spirit.
