New Delhi, Sept 20: Shivamogga Police registered a case against three suspected ISIS terrorists on Monday and arrested two of them today. Authorities are currently searching for a third alleged terrorist.
The three alleged terrorists were identified as Shariq (age 21), Syed Yasin (age 21), and Muneer Ahmed (age 22). While Shariq, the main accused, is missing, police have detained Muneer and Yasin.
On Monday, police reported the incident, and the two of them were taken into custody on Tuesday. They were taken into police custody after being produced before a court.
Yasin and Mahaz were allegedly detained by the police after it was discovered that they had connections to illegal organisations. They were linked to a stabbing, according to the authorities.

“Shivamogga Police have identified 3 terror suspects. These three people were in contact with ISIS. It has come to the fore in the preliminary investigation of the police and Muneer and Syed Yasin were arrested,” Speaking about the arrest of the two suspected ISIS terrorists, home minister Araga Jnanendra, said.
“The third accused is absconding. A case has been registered under the sections of UAPA, the police have information about the absconding accused. All three are residents of Shivamogga and Tirthahalli. They were active in the coastal districts of Karnataka,” he added.
