Ramgarh advocates receive festival allowance for Durga Puja

Ramgarh, Sept 28: The advocates of the District Advocates Association, Ramgarh will get Rs 15,000 each as the festival allowance for Durga Puja. A total of Rs 50 lakh will be distributed among the advocates on behalf of the union.

This amount is being distributed from the Advocate Welfare Fund, which is deposited by the advocates in the union through affidavits, agreements etc.

In the meeting of the general body and executive committee of the District Advocates Association, Ramgarh, it was decided to distribute the allowance based on funds available in the Welfare Fund. This amount will be distributed by October 1 via cheques.

The first check of the festival allowance was given to the founding president of the association, Dineshwar Prasad Choudhary on Wednesday.

On this occasion, Ramgarh Advocates Association President Anand Agarwal said, “Last year, at the time of the election, I had assured the advocates that on the occasion of Durga Puja, I would try to distribute at least Rs 11,000 to advocates. Now with the cooperation of all the members of the union, an amount of Rs 15000 is being distributed. It is a matter of great pleasure.”
