Ranchi, Oct 10: Police recovered a male body on Monday from the Moments Resort under the Tupudana police station area in mysterious circumstances. The deceased was identified as Abhay Pratap Singh, who appeared in his 60s.

The body was sent for autopsy at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS).

Officer-in-charge of the said police station, Meera Singh, confirmed the recovery saying the reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained.

“The body does not sustain any injury. In this situation, it is difficult to give any conclusive statement on the reason behind the death. We are waiting for the autopsy report,” OC Singh said.

Primary investigation suggested that the deceased’s native village is in Bihar. For further investigation, a team from Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has been deputed.

It is being probed whether the man came alone or he was accompanied by someone.
