Ramgarh, Oct 29: Amrit Trophy football tournament is being organized on a large scale in the area. The second phase of this tournament has started. After Barkagaon and Mandu, matches are also being played in Ramgarh assembly. The winning team will get a prize of ?1 lakh and training from Jamshedpur Football Club.
Matches were played between different panchayats at Lari Maidan located in Ramgarh Vidhan Sabha. The first match was between Hesla Panchayat vs Vanda Panchayat, in which Hesla’s team defeated Wanda’s team 4-0. The second match took place between Ghutuva Panchayat vs Chater Panchayat, in which Chater’s team defeated Ghutuwa’s team 3-1. The third match took place between Hesla Panchayat vs Chater Panchayat, in which Hesla’s team defeated Chater’s team by 2-0.
Apart from this, matches were also played at Karma Ground located in Mandu Assembly. The first match was between Kedla Madhya Panchayat vs Barughutu Panchayat, in which Kedla Central team defeated Barughutu team 5-0. The second match was between Ichakdih Panchayat vs Basantpur Panchayat, in which Ichakdih team defeated Basantpur team 4-0. Third match was between Ichakdih Panchayat vs Kedla Madhya Panchayat in which Ichakdih team defeated Kedla Central team 4-3.
This tournament is mainly being organized in association with Fantasy Arena, NTPC and Tata Steel. Players are very happy with this effort of MP Jayant Sinha. They are getting better platform to showcase their talent.
Jayant Sinha said that the players are getting opportunities through this tournament under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Through this competition, their talent is getting enhanced. We are providing them every facility so that their future should be bright in the field of sports. I am very happy to see the affection this tournament is getting from the people of the region, he said.
