Ranchi, Oct 29: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is learnt to have got an arrest warrant order against illegal stone mining accused Dahu Yadav as well as his brother Sunil Yadav. Both are the natives of the Sahibganj district and the Sahibganj police have accordingly been asked to provide all help to the ED to arrest them.

Notably, the ED on October 22 had requested the special PMLA court to issue a warrant order against them. Notably, a press release apparently signed by Dahu Yadav was also circulated denying the media report that Dahu Yadav evaded a summon of the agency.

Dahu Yadav is a prime suspect in the money laundering along with Pankaj Mishra. Pankaj Mishra is the MLA representative of Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren.

Dahu Yadav has been evading the agency despite repeated notices for his questioning in the illegal stone mining scam in the Sahibganj district. Dahu Yadav had last appeared before the agency on July 18th when his statement was recorded. But Dahu Yadav who heard his arrest evaded the summons of the ED.

The ED started his hot pursuit after he failed to turn up on September 15 which was the last opportunity given to him.

As per the information the ED, a couple of days back, dispatched him a final reminder to appear for questioning failing to which the ED would take coercive actions including arrest warrant and confiscations of properties.
