Ranchi schools invite admission applications, check list here

Ranchi, Nov 4: The admission season for school admissions seems to have begun in the capital city. Several private schools have invited applications for admissions in classes from pre-primary to IX. The prices of the admission forms and prospectus in various schools vary from Rs 300 – Rs 2000.

Several other schools have also begun direct admissions. Notably, important documents including birth certificates of the children will also be required during admissions. Here, students from rural areas will have to submit a birth certificate issued by the Panchayat, while the students from the towns and cities will have to provide one issued by the municipal corporations.

Schools including Loreto Convent and St Xavier’s School Doranda had initiated the admission process which has either been completed or will be completed soon. On the other hand, schools including Bridgeford School and St Xavier’s School Dhurwa invited applications for the same a while back.

On the other hand, schools including Firayalal Public School and Bridgeford Kamatoli opened admissions on Tuesday, while others including Surendranath Centenary, JVM Shyamali and DPS plan to invite applications in the coming months.

School administration in almost all schools in Ranchi has stated that the age group for admissions in pre-primary or nursery classes would be between 3.5 to 4.5 years, however, a few schools will have their own age limits.
