New Delhi, Nov 4: After a bus and an SUV collided, there were at least 11 fatalities in a road accident in Betul, Madhya Pradesh. Between Gudgaon and Bhaisdehi, the accident took place, early on Friday morning.
According to sources, police officers and the district collector were quickly at the scene.
The prime minister offered a compensation of Rs 2 lakh while expressing sorrow over the accident.
“Pained by the loss of lives due to an accident in Betul, MP. Condolences to the bereaved families. May the injured recover soon. An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. Rs. 50,000 would be given to the injured,” reads PMO tweet.
