New Delhi, Nov 14: A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Amritsar in the Punjab early on Monday morning, according to India’s National Center for Seismology. The depth of the earthquake, according to the National Center for Seismology, was 120 Km.
“Earthquake of Magnitude: 4.1, Occurred on 14-11-2022, 03:42:27 IST, Lat: 31.95 & Long: 73.38, Depth: 120 Km, Location: 145km WNW of Amritsar, Punjab, India,” said the National Center for Seismology.

Strong vibrations were experienced in Delhi-NCR earlier on Saturday after an earthquake with a Richter scale value of 5.4 struck Nepal. Parts of Uttarakhand experienced tremors as well, including the cities of New Tehri, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Pauri, and others. Some areas of Uttar Pradesh were also affected.
This was Nepal’s second earthquake in the meantime. On Wednesday, a 6.3-magnitude earthquake was reported in Nepal; it left at least six people dead.
