G20 Meet: PM Modi in Bali to discuss key issues with world leaders

New Delhi, Nov 15: The 17th G20 Leaders Summit’s Food and Energy Security Session will be held in the Apurva Kempinsky Hotel in Bali, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already arrived there. Joko Widodo, the president of Indonesia, received PM Modi there.

At their meeting at the Apurva Kempinsky hotel in Bali, the two leaders shook hands. For the duration of his three-day trip, PM Narendra Modi will be in Bali for the G20 Leaders Summit. PM Modi tweeted, “Grateful to the Indian community for the warm welcome in Bali,” after landing in Bali.

PM Modi will have in-depth discussions with other G20 Leaders about a range of global concerns during the summit, including revitalising global growth, food and energy security, the environment, human health, and digital transformation.

On the fringes of the G20 summit, PM Modi will meet with the heads of several other participating nations to discuss the development of India’s bilateral relations with them.

PM Modi expressed excitement about speaking to the Indian community in Bali at a reception on November 15 in a statement before to his trip there. In the statement, Prime Minister Modi said he would discuss India’s accomplishments and its “unwavering commitment” to tackling global issues at the G20 summit.

At the Bali summit’s closing ceremony, Indonesian President Widodo will hand over the G20 Presidency to India. The G20 Presidency will officially be held by India starting on December 1, 2022. PM Modi will personally invite G20 participants and other invited guests to the G20 summit, which will take place in India in 2023.
