The Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) offers excellent campus placement opportunities for all of its BTech programs. After earning a BTech, a wide range of career options become available to you. The abbreviation BTech stands for Bachelor of Technology, a four-year academic programme that culminates in the awarding of an undergraduate degree. Students must have earned a minimum grade in science in Class XII to be eligible to apply.
MIT offers 18 BTech programmes in fields like chemical, electrical, mechanical, data science, information technology, computer science, and building science.
The BTech programme must be completed in a minimum of 4 years (8 semesters), during which time students must accumulate 170 credits to be eligible for the degree. Numerous elective courses and open electives are available for students to select from. For all stakeholders, the Students Life Cycle Management (SLCM) platform offers online access to academic information.

BTech Program Semester Detail
All branches of the MIT BTech programme take the same first and second semesters. In semester III, students will have the option to switch branches if there are any openings. However, if they did well in the first year, they might be given this option.
Project work will take up the entirety of Semester VIII, allowing students to obtain practical experience. In order to accommodate student mobility, Manipal Institute of Technology offers practice schools where students can participate in live projects. The performance will be continuously evaluated, with both mid-semester and end-of-semester evaluations receiving equal weight.

Entrance Test
