Jamshedpur, Dec 24: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre predicted clear weather today and on Christmas tomorrow.

“We see no adverse system which might impact Jharkhand’s weather in the next 72 hours at least. The weather would be dry and clear today and on Christmas tomorrow. The night reading is expected to witness a slight rise in the next 48 hours,” said a duty officer at Ranchi Met Centre.

According to the duty officer, the north-westerly and westerly wind was currently prevailing in the lower level of the atmosphere.

Ranchi and its adjoining areas recorded around 11 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded around 10 degrees. Daltonganj, Deoghar, Giridih,  Bokaro, Khunti, Ramgarh, Simdega and several other places recorded minimum readings below 10 degrees Celsius.
