Ramgarh, Dec 27: Bhurkunda OP police team have arrested two miscreants with arms in Saunda Basti of the OP area. The arrested accused are identified as Rehman Khan and Raghunath Karmali.
Patratu SDPO Dr Virendra Chaudhary said in a press conference that late last evening they received information that two persons were assaulting a man. On this, the patrolling team reached Saunda garden and noticed that two men were beating up a man and trying to make him sit in their Hyundai car.
The police started searching after getting all three out of the car. Police recovered a loaded pistol with three rounds of cartridges from one of the accused Rehman Khan. Rehman Khan could not show the license in respect of the recovered weapon and bullets.
Police seized the pistol, three live bullets, a Hyundai car and four mobiles and arrested them. Based on the written application of the victim, the police registered a case under Section-341/323/324/307/504/506/34 at Patratu police station and sent both of them to judicial custody.
