New Delhi, Dec 30: In the early hours of Friday, Heeraben Modi, the mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, passed away. She was 100 years old. She was later released from Ahmedabad’s UN Mehta Hospital after being taken there due to a decline in her health.
PM Modi wrote, “A glorious century rests at the feet of God.”
Sharing her picture, he wrote on twitter, “In Maa I have always felt that trinity, which contains the journey of an ascetic, the symbol of a selfless Karmayogi and a life committed to values.”
