Six DPS Ranchi students qualify for Indian Olympiad Qualifier (IOQ) Part II

Ranchi, Dec 5: Six students of Delhi Public School, Ranchi have qualified for examinations including Indian National Physics Olympiad (INPHO), Indian National Chemistry Olympiad (INChO), Indian National Biology Olympiad (INBO), Indian National Astronomy Olympiad (INAO), Group A and Indian National Astronomy Olympiad (INAO), Group B.

A total of 26 students have been selected from Jharkhand for Part 2 of the Indian Olympiad Qualifier (IOQ) 2022-23.

INPHO has six qualifiers from Jharkhand of which one is a DPS Ranchi student, while INChO has six students selected out of which three students are from DPS Ranchi.

Meanwhile, in INBO, there are six qualifiers from Jharkhand out of which one is from DPS Ranchi. On the other hand, INAO (Group A) has five qualifiers from Jharkhand out of which one is from DPS  and INAO (Group B) has one student of DPS Ranchi out of a total of three students from Jharkhand qualified in Part 2 exams.

Names of flag bearers of Delhi Public School Ranchi in IOQ Part II 2022-23 are Kislaya (Class XII), Aryan Kumar Singh (Class XII), Nishant Ranjan (Class XII), Pratik Ratan (Class XII), Ashhad Hussain (Class XI) and Ved Vatsal (Class X).

Notably, Kislaya of Class XII qualified in INPHO and INAO (Group A) and 14 students scored above Minimum Admissible Score (MAS).

Principal Dr Ram Singh congratulated the achievers and wished them success in their future. He said that proper guidance of the teachers; hard work and sincerity of the students always pay rich dividends. “The effort shown is praiseworthy and it signifies that the students are preparing themselves for a greater role ahead,” he added.
