Ranchi, Jan.20: Instruction has been given to all the shop owners of GEL Church Marketing Complex to ensure proper safety of their wiring and electric appliances after two back to back incidents of fire in the iconic complex that came into existence in 1988.
Treasurer of GEL Shop Complex Om Prakash Tulsyan shared the information with Lagatar24.com saying the association took a serious note of the incident.
“We have taken all the measures to ensure safety against fire but it is difficult to ensure that a short circuit does not take place. Thus, all the shop owners and the management of offices running in the complex have been alerted to take all precautions to prevent short circuits,” Tulsyan said.
On Friday, a fire broke out in a shop named Maruti House in the evening. A week ago, a fire had broken out in a toy shop in the same market during night hours.
