Jamshedpur, Jan 25: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of dry weather with a partly cloudy sky on Republic Day tomorrow. Ruling out the possibility of rain weathermen said the weather would be mainly dry for the next 48 hours or so.

“We are expecting mist and moderate fog early in the morning in the next two days. Some districts would witness partly cloudy sky but there will be no rain,” said a duty officer at Ranchi Meteorological Centre.

The Western Disturbance is a cyclonic circulation over east Afghanistan and the neighbourhood today lying over east Afghanistan and adjoining north Pakistan between 3.1 Km and 9.6 Km above mean sea level.

The induced cyclonic circulation over southwest Rajasthan and the neighbourhood was today prevailing over central parts of south Rajasthan extending up to 1.5 Km above the mean sea level.

Statistics revealed that the minimum temperature was hovering between 13 and 15 degree Celsius in most parts of the state today.
